There was no getting out of this without their chiming in, you all.
This is mostly for the benefit of my crowd at webtoon since most of them know nothing about the source material. But I couldn't help being silly while I was at it. :)
Thank you. That's wonderful.
I guess I'm always too busy crushing on Taran to recall that many of my readers have a huge crush on Eilonwy. XD Something for everybody here. You're welcome, ;)
That's me talking about my reaction to this epilogue. Though, of course, it describes the content even better.
I had to finagle it in somehow. ;)
What a nice little epilogue. A great way to bring new readers up to speed, with some good humor mixed in.
Totally unexpected, but very much appreciated :)
;) She’s nothing if not tenacious.
Hooooo! I think I have to agree with Rob, that was -quite- the satisfying epilogue. :D Now I feel even more like Taran (except I never met my Eilonwy).
Funny how I had forgotten both their names after all this time until I found your graphic novelization, but I have never forgotten their characters. These two are almost real people to me, and now I get to see them again not just in my mind's eye, but in full color.
Thank you, Saeriellyn.
As always, it's a pleasure. <3
That's not just cannon, that's a full on emotional artillery barrage! Well done.
If you haven't gotten bored by the time you've read all of my random comments, I just wanted to thank you for an amazing refreshing comic. I cannot express how much this inspired me to go write that Fanfiction.net story I've been planning on my FandomsSchoolwork username. I'll let you know when it's done :P By the way, two questions. Is there any updates to that Chronicles of Prydain audio series? I am about to go read the Book of Three latest chapters so if you mention it there, I apologize for asking. (I just finished my first voice over commission job and did my first stage role as an Irish girl, (still working on my welsh) I can't wait to try auditioning for it if I ever get the chance, even if it's just as an extra!)
Second question...it has always been a headcanon of mine, but you remember how Fflewdeur and Adaon were bffs? How they rushed to hug each other during that council meeting at Caer Dallben? Well, I always wondered, what if Adaon, Fflewdeur and Adaon's fiancée Arianllyn, (Yes, I stole her name, I just thought it was beautiful) were best friends and if Fflewdeur brought news of Adaon's death to her and then later they fell in love? That is the fanfic I am planning on writing eventually, but I wanted your thoughts and I wanted to know if I could ever convince you to try sketching a cover for it...even a marker on a napkin sketch would be better than I can do.
Thanks again for this wonderful escapism!
I thought before I reviewed that fic chapter I should respond here.
The audiodrama is still, as far as I know, being done, but unfortunately the person responsible for the lion’s share of it has a lot on his plate, can only work on it rarely, and hasn’t shared with me when he expects to release anything or start casting the next episode. It’s extraordinarily frustrating, but it’s out of my hands. But I will always put out a general announcement when any news on that topic is released.
I’m so tickled that you’re writing fanfic; that is a very interesting idea for a story. My own Fflewddur headcanon is very set in a “he’s too gypsy to settle down” camp, but I’ve grown accustomed to enjoying multiple possibilities in a sort of Prydain multiverse. I’ll be sure to read and follow your story!
I love the side stories, the shaving and the tree. They way you handle Taran and Eilonwy, both playful and terrified. Your love for the books shows. :). Eilonwy is awesome!
You’ve read all that in one day? You are my kind of fan. Thanks for the feedback and glad you are here.
This is the cutest thing ever! Do you have more work anywhere else?
Besides my comics here on CF, I have a deviantart gallery, which you can find via a link at my bio. Thanks for the comment! Glad you enjoyed the strip.
